In celebration of its 100th anniversary, Diplomat has found inspiration in both the historical and the futuristic realms to create its latest fountain pen: Nexus.
Reviving the revolutionary piston technology from the early 20th century and pairing it with a newly patented sealing system to ensure a secure cap seal, Nexus seamlessly blends the best of the past and the future. Bid farewell to the concerns of ink depletion, cartridges, and their plastic packaging.
This fountain pen, crafted from black anodized aluminum, is adorned with gold-plated trim and features an ink window in the barrel for a clear view of the remaining ink level. The pen is equipped with a smooth-writing #6 size two-tone 14k nib, expertly crafted by JoWo.
To fill the pen, hold it with the nib facing upwards, unscrew the barrel from the nib/grip section, use the included eyedropper or an ink syringe to fill the barrel with your preferred bottled ink, and then screw the nib/grip section back on.
The patented automatic closing sealing system engages when screwing on the cap, ensuring a secure seal and eliminating the risk of ink leakage when the pen is not in use.
