Beautiful and writes wonderfully! Now I need to purchase more cartridges.
I came into the store with a friend from a conference in town. She was interested in a fountain pen but never tried one. I offered to penable her, as I’m what known to do with newbies…she picked out a groovy pattern. Let’s just say, she’s in love and still reaches out to let me know how her pen adventures are going! Great experience.
I wanted to try a stub nib, but I did not want to spend a lot of money because I did not know if I would like it. So, I bought the 1.1m nib, thinking that it would be a good introduction to stub nibs. I liked that a converter was included. Usually, that is an extra expense when buying an inexpensive pen.
The pen is pretty. I bought the lime green one. It seems to be very well- made and comes in a nice box. I think it would make a nice gift. It is a metal pen, but it is not too heavy in my hand. I like the line variation it produces. It definitely improves the look of my handwriting, makes it more interesting. However, I am still not sure that a stub nib is for me. I like a smooth, soft experience which does not require as much pressure while writing. I am still looking for my Goldilocks pen.
This is my first nice fountain pen and I'm quite pleased with it! It writes smoothly and lays down a line of perfect thickness - not so thick that it hampers my small handwriting, but not so thin that it's scratchy. It has a pleasant weightiness to it and I love how cold it feels. I've heard mixed reviews about the converter not holding enough ink, but it holds enough for my purposes. I have been writing with it consistently for about week and I haven't had to refill it yet. I love it!
Even prettier in person .
Writes like a dream , I got green and filled it with green ink !!
