I am delighted with this subscription. I don’t live anywhere need a pen store so these Truphae boxes give me an opportunity to explore. They are so nicely presented and curated and a great value. They seem to arrive just when one needs a pick me up…
It was fun to do for a couple of months but the total value of my second month was over $5 less than the subscription price. It was fun to have a surprise, but it isn't worth losing the value.
A very cheap pen and red ink that looks brown on the paper. Not super impressed
The ink I received was out of my comfort zone, but I did ink up the pen that came with the Inkredible Box. The pen had a fine nib which didn't showcase the ink very well. I dug around in my spare parts and switched out the nib to a broad, and wow what a difference that made, the ink was Pineider Yellow Gold and the broad nib made the ink pop. For someone starting out with fountain pens this may not have been a pleasant experience, but I started using fountain pens 64 years ago and love tinkering with them.
