I am really enjoying the Diamine 2023 Inkvent Calendar - Purple Edition. A couple of years ago I had ordered a sample of Diamine Blue Edition Blue Peppermint & used that to fill a Kuretake Karappo empty felt tip pen with wick. Either my sample had little shimmer, or the shimmer was lost in the felt tip. I did love that color, and after some time contemplating how long a 50ml bottle would last me, I did order a bottle with a dip pen -- and <3 <3!! I love the ink & enjoy writing with the dip pen. So, then I started looking at some other inks -- looking for a dark blue or blue-black -- maybe with shimmer -- and a couple of the colors I really liked were part of Diamine's 2023 Inkvent Purple Edition. I watched a couple of "spoiler" YouTube videos (not so spoiler 8+ months later :) to see all the colors. While I'm intrigued with the concept of ordering an InkVent Calendar, I also don't want to spend a lot of $$ (for me) and end up with a bunch of inks I don't really care for. A little online searching to see if any retailers still had boxes of Diamine Ink's 2023 InkVent Calendar - Purple edition and I found that TruPhae had the InkVent Calendars at less than full price. Score!! The shipping was fast. The retail packaging of the InkVent Calendar gives a good amount of protection to the bottles; the retail box was well packaged by TruPhae, so my Diamine Inkvent Calendar - Purple Edition arrived in excellent condition. And, another plus of ordering 8 months after Christmas: no worry about the inks freezing!! I am super happy with my purchase from TruPhae, and will shop here again when I'm next looking for inks.
Everything was perfect. Product was pristine and just as I’d hoped. Arrived promptly and well-packaged. Very happy!
I’m glad I got it at a sale price. There are so many shimmer inks that just clog up my pens. It may be that the sample size proportions of shimmer to ink are off. I don’t have issues with full size bottles of shimmer inks.
